After You're Accepted

Congratulations on your admission to ALP at Cal State East Bay! Prior to attending ALP, admitted student must complete the following steps.
If you have not done so already, activate your Net ID. Contact us if you have not received your Net ID information in your admission package or your personal e-mail address you've provided on your application.

Apply for a Student Visa (F-1) and schedule a visa interview at the nearest United States Embassy/Consulate. Check with the local U.S embassy/consulate for what to prepare for the visa interview.

Pay the $200 SEVIS fee by completing Form I-901 online at FMJfee. Keep your receipt as you will need it at your visa interview.

You should have submitted housing interest form as part of your application packet. If you're still looking for a place to live, check our housing page.
Check your tuition fees for your program and pay before the end of the orientation to avoid a late fee of $75.
Cal State East Bay requires that all international students carry health insurance that meets the minimum requirements. You must purchase health insurance from Relation that provides insurance that meets and exceeds the CSU requirements or submit proof of Government-Sponsored or Employer-Sponsored Insurance.
The closest airports to Cal State East Bay are San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), and San Jose (SJC). If you need airport pick up service, submit a request (optional) using our Airport Pick-Up Form.
