The mission of CLASS Undergraduate Advising is to deliver high-quality support services to students in arts, humanities, and social sciences by aiding in the development of meaningful educational plans consistent with their personal and professional goals, as well as fostering student autonomy and accountability for the academic success and progress toward degree completion.

Major Advising
Major Advisors help you track your progress toward completing your major requirements, help you choose major courses for the next term, and complete your major check when you have filed for graduation.

CLASS Advisors
In addition to major requirements, all upper-division students must also complete University requirements. These include Breadth requirements (upper-division GE and Overlays) and American Institutions requirements. You must also complete the correct number of units in a variety of categories, including total units, units in residence, and upper-division units. This can be tricky!
