about csueb concord

As the only publicly supported four-year university on the northern I-680 corridor, Cal State East Bay's Concord Center is located on a 386-acre site within a short distance from both downtown Concord and Walnut Creek. The center is an easy commute for those living in Contra Costa County and portions of Alameda County, including the city of Oakland.

The Concord Center remains dedicated to partnering with its community through collaborative efforts with regional industry leaders and local community colleges. As one of the largest branch locations in the California State University System, it serves upward of 1,300 students each year.

The Concord Center is home to an organic chemistry lab—the largest science lab in the university—a fitness park, student collaboration room, student lounge, bookstore, student café, and more. And as a Concord Center student, you’ll be able to take advantage of small class sizes and the close connections the university maintains with the surrounding Contra Costa County communities and employers.

From student advising and enrollment services, to purchasing parking permits and paying tuition fees, you’ll find it simple to take care of all your student needs in one place.
