Erick Kong Faculty Profile

Erick Kong grew up in the Bay Area and received his Masters in Education emphasis on Online Teaching & Learning and completed his Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy from CSUH. He also received his Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Ohlone College. He is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and has been a facilitator at the Adventure Recreation Challenge Course at CSUEB since 2004. Erick's work experience include working for the Institute on Aging, TODCO services, Kaiser Permanente, and the Center of Adventure Recreation

Besides teaching and working with clients, Erick is avid for adventure. He enjoys many outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, sailing, rafting, biking, skydiving, orienteering, geocaching, sea & whitewater kayaking, surfing, spelunking, windsurfing, rowing, slacklining, sculling, and many more.
