Lottery Room Selection Process

  1. Those who have completed the application and contract during the designated period will receive an email notifying them if they have been placed on the waitlist or if they will be able to participate in the Room Selection Process.
    • Those participating in the room selection process will be given a lottery time. Residents will be able to log into the housing portal anytime during or after their lottery time to select their room space.
    • Lottery Room Selection times are NO LONGER assigned based on date and time of contract submission.
    • After the application & contract period has ended, all completed contracts will be entered into a lottery number system.  The assignment of lottery numbers is NOT based on first-come, first-served, but will be randomly generated by the database.
  2. During your assigned lottery time you may log into the housing portal and complete the room selection process.
    • Every fifteen (15) minutes additional residents will be able to access the student housing portal to select their room space. If you log in after your assigned time, this will reduce your chance of receiving your first preference.
    • Those who are given a lottery time and do not participate in the room selection process may be manually placed in a room based on space availability or receive a waitlist letter.
