The Outstanding Academic Program of the Year is a meeting, event, or program designed to enhance the academic experience outside of the classroom.

Outstanding Collaborative Program

Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for the Cinco De Mayo Celebration IV

The Outstanding Collaborative Program of the Year is an event where 2 or more clubs or organizations join together to design, develop, and implement an academic, social, community service, or cultural program.

Outstanding Community Service Program

The Outstanding Community Service Program of the Year is an event or program whereby the club/organization provides unpaid/volunteer service to the CSUEB community and/or to the surrounding community.

We are very pleased to award Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for Outstanding Community Service Program. Gamma Zeta Alpha raised money through a tamale sale and donated 300 toys to Eldridge Elementary School in Hayward!

Outstanding Cultural Program

Afghan Student Association for The Children of Afghanistan Banquet

The Outstanding Cultural Program of the Year is an event or program that highlight and/or celebrates the concepts of diversity, cultural arts, and/or ethnic heritage.

Outstanding Social Program

Student-Athlete Advisory Council for the 1st Annual Homecoming Pep Rally and Variety Show

The Outstanding Social Program of the Year is an event or program primarily focused on the social aspect of the college experience and/or bringing the CSUEB community together to socialize.

The Outstanding Service to the Community Award honors a student organization that has demonstrated exemplary service to the local community.

Outstanding Commitment to Sexual Assault Awareness

Sigma Sigma Sigma and Sigma Delta Upsilon
For the first time, Greek Life was asked to attend a national speaker and sexual assault awareness program on April 17th to show their commitment as a community to this important issue. The organizations with the highest percentage of participation were recognized in thanks for their leadership and commitment to this important community issue.

Pioneer Pride Award

Traditionally, this award honors students and student organizations that have demonstrated outstanding Pioneer Pride in the campus community. However, this year, we did receive a staff nomination and were so impressed with recommendation that we also wanted to include this staff member for their pioneer pride.
