The primary goal of the Pioneers for HOPE Learning Framework is to investigate and identify strategies that support underserved and under‐resourced students toward their successful retention and completion of their degree program.
The Pioneers for HOPE Learning Framework is a 2-year grant. The first year is focused on needs assessment and research. The second year will be focused on implementation of a program that is created from the information gathered in the first year. The Pioneers for HOPE Program (Helping Our Pioneers Excel) is CSU East Bay's intervention program that addresses the Chancellor's food and housing security initiatives to include wide-ranging efforts to immediately serve some of our most-at risk students facing homelessness, food insecurity, and other various crisis situations.
Community is an important aspect of the work that the Pioneers for HOPE Learning Framework is doing. The input that we receive from our community will guide our efforts in Year 2 of the program. Use our Suggestion Box to send us your comments, concerns, questions and feedback.
