Jason Smith, Chair, Associate Professor Department of Health Sciences

This regulation of speech raises serious First Amendment implications as well as implications for the health of both individuals and communities. This talk will focus on the evolving professional speech doctrine and its implications for health as well the role of health as norm in U.S. Constitutional law.

Talk given on November 18, 2016, by Assistant Professor Jason Smith in the Biella Room of the Library on the Hayward campus of California State University, East Bay
