The fires in Butte County continue to burn, however air quality in the East Bay has improved. The Hayward Campus, the Concord Campus and the Oakland Center will be open for normal operations on Monday Nov. 19.  We continue to take precautions for the health and welfare of students, staff and faculty, and will monitor air quality conditions for any changes. Should there be any significant change in conditions, we will respond accordingly, but at this time, the campus will resume business operations.

We understand that some individuals may experience greater sensitivity to changing environmental conditions.  Please consult with your managers if you have any questions.

For those wishing to provide monetary assistance to the victims of the Camp Fires, the North Valley Community Fund has set up a fund to provide relief. In Southern California, the Ventura Community Foundation is assisting victims of the Hill and Woolsey Fires.

Our hearts go out to the families of these terrible tragedies.
