Cal State East Bay Assistant Professor Fadi Castronovo was recently featured on the“K12 Engineering Education Podcast” talking about his efforts to advance engineering education using simulation and games.

The American Physiological Society recently highlighted Cal State East Bay Assistant Professor Tyler Evans' work researching oystersand their tolerance to low-salinity seawater. Evans and the research team found that oysters being closest to a large estuary were more tolerant of exposure to low-salinity water.

Cal State East Bay recently initiated a partnership between the university and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and was featured in a story the lab’s Earth and Environmental Science website. According to the story, students in the first cohort finished their summer research at the lab but will continue working on their projects throughout the school year.

Cal State East Bay kinesiology professors Matthew Atencio, Becky Beal, ZaNean McClean and Missy Wright recently celebrated the publication of their book "Moving Boarders: Skateboarding and the Changing Landscape of Urban Youth Sports," now available on Amazon and the University of Arkansas Press website.
