  • Assistant professor Jesus Oliver recently had a paper accepted for publication in the journal “Analysis and PDE” regarding his work on proving “decay and stability of non-linear wave equations in a dynamic black hole background without symmetries.” A copy of the paper in its entirety is available online.
  • Associate professor of gerontology Xeno Rasmusson recently weighed in on news that Netflix has struck a deal with Gwyneth Paltrow and her wellness brand, Goop. Rasmusson argues Goop offers “a lot of positive direction for people wanting to eat healthy and build in healthy behavior during these hectic times.”
  • Associate professor of communication Lonny J. Brooks recently wrote an article published in Quartz about the four major factors that will allow African nations to reveal the full power and reach of their “cultural vibranium” in the 22nd century.
  • Assistant professor of Educational Leadership G.T. Reyes had an OpEd published in the SF Examiner about the Oakland Unified School District’s tentative agreement with the teachers union. In the piece, Reyes argues the strike has implications beyond that of a fight for worker rights.
