Santina Pitcher, counselor with the Academic Advising and Career Education Center at Cal State East Bay, is featured in a San Francisco Chronicle article, “Job markets for grads is better, but still weak”.

She said, her office has about 350 job and internship postings, compared with 250 last year and 500 in the pre-recession days. The office gets about 2,500 online inquiries per month and sees about 200 students in person. Amid an improving but still challenging environment, Pitcher senses less anxiety than in 2009.
