Badejo contributes article to new Encyclopedia of African Thought

Research from Diedre Badejo, professor of English and former Dean of College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences, is included in the new Oxford Encyclopedia of African Thought (2010 Oxford University Press). The encyclopedia is a two volume set with 1,200+ pages covering major topics involved in the development of African Thought, including historical figures and important social movements.

Badejo contributed an article on Yemoja, the nature deity who represents the ocean, is the essence of motherhood, and a protector of children.
