Eight art students show work in Hayward exhibition

Eight students – Victor Arce, Eyael Fisseha, Donghoon Han, Pat McCabe, Paolo Mejia, Melanie Sharr, Andrew Wallace, Michael Wallace, and Elizabeth Zunino – will have multiple pieces in the upcoming “Art IS Education - a Continuum of Learning” show at the new Cinema Place Gallery in downtown Hayward. 

The exhibition, at 1061 B St., will be open March 16 through April 8. A reception is set from 5 to 7 p.m. March 25. It includes various mediums created by students at several East Bay public schools and universities.

Cinema Place Gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday. The Gallery opens at noon and closes at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Sundays, 6 p.m. Saturdays, and at 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. There is parking on B Street, in the Cinema Place garage, and in the city lot behind Buffalo Bill's.
