It's not too late to apply for Cal State East Bay's teaching credential program and earn a licensure for Multiple Subject teaching, Single Subject Teaching, or a dual track in Multiple Subject and a Special Education Teaching Credential. Individuals must apply to the department and university by March 31. Admitted candidates will begin the program in June.

The CSUEB Credential Student Service Center will host information sessions on both the Hayward and Concord campuses to provide an overview of the teaching credential programs and answer questions from prospective students.

"Despite the advances we've made as a society, there is still a high need for teachers in the mathematics, science, and bilingual education so we are especially hopeful to attract candidates for these areas," said Laty Johnson, director of the Credential Student Service Center.
