Music graduate student and alum Ryan Rey composed the score for the movie, “All About Dad,” that will premier on TV Saturday, May 28 at multiple times and on multiple cable stations.

Rey composed the score for the movie in 2009, while finishing his undergraduate degree in music composition, right about the time he was awarded the department’s first Professor Glenn Glasow Graduate Fellowship in Music Composition.

The music is performed by four men with ties to CSUEB. Poh Soon Teng is a senior in percussion; Alex Kadarauch, cello; Jeff Patterson, bass; and Dominic Serrano, piano, are alumni.

The film has won awards and been at numerous film festivals across the country, including Cinequest where it received the “Audience Award.”

A sample of the soundtrack is at: soundcloud

If you miss the TV showings, the film may be rented from Netflix, and it is for sale.
