CSUEB geologist to lead walking tour of Hayward fault on April 7

Mitchell Craig, Cal State East Bay associate professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences, will present, "It's Our Fault",  a free event sponsored by the Hayward Area Historical Society and the Hayward Library. Event will be held April 7 at 1 p.m.

After an introductory overview at the Hayward Public Library, Craig will take participants on a walking tour around downtown Hayward to point out the results of ongoing fault creep and discuss how to strengthen buildings. He will also share how communities can prepare for their response to the aftermath of an earthquake.
