Cal State East Bay business grads Allen Shi ’06 and Sunny Yao ’01 opened YiPing, a new Asian fusion restaurant in San Ramon, Calif.

They used their marketing skills obtained by CSUEB to differentiate YiPing by focusing on making top quality Chinese food made from the finest locally grown organic ingredients.  Their restaurant, as well as all their business practices, is focused on being as environmentally sustainable as possible.

An online reviewer said Yiping was an, “…amazing fusion of organic California grown products…a well-rounded authentically exquisite dining experience.”

Meet Shi and Yao and try out their cuisine at a special alumni event at YiPing on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 5:30-7:30pm hosted by the Cal State East Bay Association Board of Directors. RSVP by Friday, Nov. 2.
