The Cal State East Bay Criminal Justice Department invites the campus community to a 2 p.m. presentation by author Azim Khamisa today (Tuesday, April 23) in room 2064 of Meiklejohn Hall.

Khamisa is a nationally acclaimed speaker on preventing youth violence and the implementation of restorative justice. He became known on a national stage as a result of his son’s murder by a 14-year old involved in a gang initiation. Khamisa has shared the stage with President’s Clinton, Al Gore, and the Dalai Lama. Below are some links to his work, his foundation and his messages.
