Spring calling on behalf of the CSUEB Annual Fund has begun

  • May 9, 2013 4:00pm

In May, more than 30 Cal State East Bay students are gathering in the evenings to call alumni and parents and ask if they will support the university with a gift to the Annual Fund. It’s one of the many ways Cal State East Bay reaches out to connect with those who know the importance and impact of higher education and a college degree, and share information about how to help make it possible for today’s Pioneers.

Each year, over 2,000 individuals support the Cal State East Bay Annual Fund. Their gifts benefit students immediately by supporting our highest priorities and most critical needs, like funding scholarships, retaining and recruiting superb faculty and sustaining innovative academic and community enrichment programs.

Alumni and friends may receive calls from one of these dedicated students Monday through Thursday evening after 5:30 p.m. or Sundays from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m. Students will be calling the afternoon of Saturday, May 11 so they can be with their families on Mother’s Day.

When you see the university’s number on your caller ID, we hope you will pick up the phone and enjoy a chat with one of our promising students!

If you would like more information about the Annual Fund and how it strengthens the University, please contact Kate Shaheed, Director of Annual Fund and Giving Programs at 510-885-2839 or kate.shaheed@csueastbay.edu.
