Info sessions on CSUEB’s Chemical Dependency Studies program to be held on Sept 18 and 21

Cal State East Bay Continuing Education will host two information sessions on the Chemical Dependency Studies Certificate program in the upcoming weeks. Info sessions with be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 21. Both sessions will be held on the Hayward Campus.

CSUEB’s Certificate in Chemical Dependency Studies serves the needs of counselors, therapists, probations and corrections officers, nurses, and others who work with drug and alcohol abusers. The program also is recommended for those who wish to enter the substance abuse counseling field and must meet California's minimum educational requirements.

Depending on students' background, needs, and career goals, the program offers several certificate options.
