Pioneers at Cal State East Bay are organizing several community donation drives this holiday season to help give back to residents of the East Bay.

Psi Chi will be hosting a canned food drive for the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) on Monday, Nov. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26. Drop off your donations at the Psi Chi collection table in front of the P.O.D. Market between 11:00am and 3:00pm during the drive days.

CSUEB’s University Police Department (UPD) is kicking off a new annual event on campus, “Socks for Seniors.” Between Nov. 25 and Dec. 20, UPD will be collecting CLEAN, NEW, UNWORN socks or non-slip slippers to help our seniors in the community stay warm during the winter season.   Look for donation bins in PE 130, Facilities yard, North Science 137, and the UPD lobby.

UPD will also be hosting a toy drive on the Hayward campus. Please drop off new and unwrapped toys suitable for children ages 3 to 16 in the UPD lobby starting Nov. 1 throught Dec. 23.

CSUEB Concord kicks off “21 Days of Gratitude and Giving” on Monday, Nov. 25.  The campus is hosting a large scale holiday food, toy and clothing drive. Donation bins are located in the AS lobby, bookstore and library on the Concord campus.

Donations are also accepted for the University Fund at Cal State East Bay. Funds are allocated to capitalize on emerging opportunities and address special needs. Your support for The University Fund is an important component in the University's continued success. Donate online.
