Info sessions for new Women's Studies Online BA Program to be held April 8 and April 10

Cal State East Bay will host two information sessions in the upcoming weeks for the new Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies Online Degree Completion Program (BA-WOST), scheduled to launch this fall.

The program, geared towards working adults, is designed to acquaint students with feminist scholarship on women, gender, sexuality, paid and unpaid work, research methods, and theory.

Students will take courses on theories of feminism, women’s health and health care, violence against women, women and public policy, and more. The program’s curriculum also includes action research, and fieldwork courses.

Interested applicants can apply to the program now through June 30, 2014.

To learn more about the BA-WOST Degree Completion Program, RSVP to attend an upcoming information meeting. They will be held Tuesday, April 8, 6 p.m., Concord Campus, LB 149; and Thursday, April 10, 6 p.m., Oakland Center, Room 1.
