OSCAR Scholar's Program

Our programs have been shown to increase student retention and graduation rates by fostering student engagement in inclusive, experiential Research, Scholarships & Creative Activities (RSCA) projects with East Bay faculty.

We have programs for undergraduates AND graduate students from ALL disciplines!

CSU-SPaRA (Previously known as LSAMP)

A CSU system-wide program dedicated to increasing the number of underrepresented students to complete quality degree programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Council for Ocean Affairs, Science, and Technology (COAST)

A CSU organization that encompasses all marine, estuarine, coastal, and coastal watershed-related activities.

Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI) Internship

A laboratory internship program that is a partnership between CSR and the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).

Previous Programs

BET McNair

A federal TRIO program designed to prepare undergraduate students for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities.

Beckman Scholar's Program

The Beckman Scholars Program is a 15-month mentored research experience for exceptional undergraduate students in chemistry, biological sciences, or interdisciplinary combinations thereof.

WSU Diversity Scholars Program

A partnership between CSR and Washington State University (WSU). WSU is a land-grant institution with several campuses located all over the state of Washington and award graduate (MS and PhD) degrees.
