College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
All scheduled in-person EXAMS have been cancelled until further notice.
This program was created by the College Board to allow students to demonstrate college-level achievement through a series of exams in undergraduate college courses. There are 2900 colleges that grant credit and/or advanced standing for CLEP exams.
California State University East Bay is an open test center.
All of the computer-based exams are administered in the testing office computer lab LI 3165A.
Before taking a CLEP exam, check directly with the college or university you plan to attend to make sure it grants credit for CLEP and review the specifics of its policy.
