MAT Alternative Accommodations

Register for the test and pay all applicable fees.

Make an appointment with the Accessibility Center counselor (Telephone: 510.885.3868) to verify your disability and complete an accommodations request form. This must be done at least two weeks before the test so that they may get the information to us in time.

In most situations, accommodation WILL NOT be made on the published dates. The Testing Office will contact you approximately a week to a week and a half prior to the exam to give and confirm your appointment.

Accommodations are by appointment only and on a space available basis. Space is limited. Late arrivals may lose their testing opportunity and/or have time subtracted from total accommodated time.

Students eligible for space alone will be provided an individual, private room, but it is NOT soundproof. You may wish to bring earplugs if outside, ambient noise will prove a distraction for you.
