Learning Goal Learning Objective
LG 1: Students who graduate will be knowledgeable and integrative in their approach to business management. LO 1A: Students who graduate will recognize and integrate foundation knowledge across functional areas.
LO 1B: Students who graduate will apply critical thinking skills to solve business problems.
LG 2: Students who graduate will be effective data-driven decision makers. LO 2A: Students who graduate will understand and apply quantitative methods and tools in evaluating business problems and making effective business decisions.
LO2B: Students who graduate will apply technology to analyze data and provide solutions to business problems.
LG 3: Students who graduate will be effective communicators in a diverse and global environment. LO 3A: Students who graduate will apply effective oral communication skills in a diverse and global environment.
LO 3B: Students who graduate will apply effective written communication skills in a diverse and global environment.

LG 1: Students who graduate will be global in their perspective when developing business strategies. LO 1A: Students who graduate will identify global business opportunities, analyze global business challenges, and develop business strategies.
LG 2: Students who graduate will have leadership, team-building, and advanced communication skills in diverse and cross-cultural managerial environments. LO 2A: Students who graduate will demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills.
LO 2B: Students who graduate will apply advanced written communication skills.
LO 2C: Students who graduate will apply advanced oral communication skills.
LO 2D: Students who graduate will demonstrate cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity in their interpersonal and group communication.

LG 3: Students who graduate will be competent in the use of modern statistical packages to analyze data LO 3A: Students who graduate will analyze research data using modern statistical software packages.
LG 4: Students who graduate will be effective communicators as it pertains to arguments grounded in economic theory. LO 4A: Students who graduate will construct coherent economic policy arguments, grounded in economic theory.

LG 3: Students who graduate will be knowledgeable in advanced econometrics. LO 3A: Students who graduate will identify and apply appropriate empirical techniques for estimation problems.
LG 4: Students who graduate will be effective data analysts with the ability to use advanced software. LO 4A: Students who graduate will estimate models informed by economic theory using specialized software for data analysis.

LG 1: Students who graduate will be knowledgeable in financial accounting and reporting standards. LO 1A: Students graduating with a Master of Science in Accountancy will be able to demonstrate knowledge of U.S. and international financial reporting standards and auditing standards for corporate financial reporting and attestation.
LG 2: Students who graduate will be able to analyze emerging accounting issues and to make informed decisions. LO 2A: Students graduating with a Master of Science in Accountancy will be able to develop critical thinking and quantitative reasoning for financial reporting and business valuation.
LG 3: Students who graduate will be able to assume professional responsibilities and be ethical. LO 3A: Students graduating with a Master of Science in Accountancy will be able to illustrate the knowledge of accountants’ professional ethics standards and assess them in business situations.
LG 4: Students who graduate will be able to communicate effectively and professionally. LO 4A: Build written communication skills to create professional accounting reports.
LO 4B: Build oral communication skills to deliver a well-organized, informative, and persuasive oral presentation within a professional context.
LG 5: Students who graduate will be effective collaborators and valuable team players. LO 5A: Improve professional collaboration and teamwork skills in working with individuals and in groups.
