Degrees and Certificates Offered (Quarters)

Students can choose between a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology or a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology. Those students who wish to become professional biologists, or to go into health careers, higher education, or to graduate school usually obtain a B.S. Those planning on using their Biology degree in lower education or as an advocation may be interested in the B.A. We also offer a minor in Biology and Masters programs in Biology and Marine Science, as well as a Biotechnology Certificate program.
