Inside Core

CORE supports the changing needs, desires and aspirations of our diverse student population and new approaches to active, engaged teaching.

  • coreinterior2Level one houses the collaboration zone and innovation labs, offering students opportunities to connect and create.
  • Level two is dedicated to providing access to the university’s knowledge base with a modern library experience and space for quiet study both inside and on the exterior roof deck.
  • Level three houses the Student Center for Academic Achievement (SCAA) which will offer peer tutoring and peer-led study groups. There will also be an enclosed lounge space, study carrels and a quiet meditation area.

The CORE’s design provides opportunities for students to test what they learn inside their classes and take advantage of dedicated space for group projects, presentations and research.
