Health & Wellness
Student Health & Counseling Services
- Though the Case Manager will meet with students one-on-one to provide support with resources and referrals, students may need emotional support to process the issues they are facing. The Case Manager is not a confidential resource, but can make a referral to Counseling Services so students can have individual counseling in a one-on-one, confidential meeting. The counselor will do several things with you;
- Talk with you about what concerns and challenges you may be facing.
- Help you identify your strengths and resources.
- Collaborate with you to develop a plan for addressing your concerns.
- Suggest additional services which may be of benefit to you, both within the Counseling center, elsewhere on campus, or in the community.
- Schedule an appointment with a counselor here.
Confidential Advocate
- Cal State East Bay's Confidential Campus Advocate provides crisis counseling and advocacy for survivors and those impacted by sexual violence, including sexual harassment, dating and intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sexual exploitation. The Advocate serves the entire campus community: students, faculty, staff, and affiliates. Contact our Advocate, Lorraine Holmes, by calling (510) 885-3700 or emailing advocate@csueastbay.edu.
