Our Mission

About Us

The Institute for STEM Education is committed to building a career pipeline for all Cal State East Bay students as they prepare to enter the workforce. The CAP program focuses on leveraging our partnerships to create professional communities that are accessible and equitable to future and current employees from all backgrounds.

Building on partnerships with local STEM businesses, CAP's resources are sourced from a collaborative network of dedicated industry experts, civic leaders, and academic professionals who are eager to connect with our talented pool of Cal State East Bay students. CAP is immensely grateful to our local business partners and funders who provide the foundation and enthusiasm to support career training and development opportunities at Cal State East Bay because they understand that a commitment to our students is an investment in the future Bay Area STEM workforce.
