Communities We Serve
CEAS actively works to create and offer programs that will fundamentally improve the communities in which we work and live from schools to parks, restaurants to counseling services. Several of our programs focus on improving the achievement outcomes for students in K-12 schools. Departments and programs in CEAS strive to change the world of schooling by helping credential and degree students build knowledge, skills and dispositions that will allow them to confront organizational and societal issues that limit outcomes for children. Yet, the reach of CEAS is well beyond schools into communities in the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world.
CEAS has an active on-line community that includes bachelor’s degree programs for undergraduates in Recreation with Options in Hospitality Management, Leisure Management and Recreation Therapy and master of science degrees in Online Teaching and Learning as well as in Recreation & Tourism.
