Center for Community Engagement

The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) supports a variety of community-engaged learning that happens within academic courses (also known as Service-Learning), as well as our own programs:

Our  mission is to enhance learning, inspire engagement, and improve community well-being. We do this by advocating for and facilitating meaningful learning experiences that contribute to positive growth within the East Bay region through collaborative partnerships, effective practices, and resource development. Our community partners represent a broad scope of non-profit, social service, and public entities that contribute to education, arts, equity, community health, food security, and sustainability.

I Serve East Bay Recognitions

I Serve East Bay recognizes the work of our student clubs and organizations in the community.

Community service is recognized in three different categories including community service events, direct community service hours, and fundraising and awareness events.

Clubs and organizations can place on three different levels, Red, Black, and Gray. Each level indicates the number of community service events each club or organization participated in Red being the highest level possible and Gray being the lowest level.

Below are the clubs and organizations that are being recognized this year for their service in the community and participation in I Serve East Bay.
