Erica Donahue, EdD Faculty Profile

Erica Donahue started her career in education as a bilingual Spanish elementary school teacher and as a teacher of secondary students enrolled in alternative education programs. After teaching for a number of years, Erica served as an assistant principal and principal and currently serves as a district office administrator. She has spent 18 years serving students and families in low income, urban schools within the San Francisco Bay Area
Erica's work is guided by the principles of social justice and systemic reform including the creation of educational environments that provide robust, meaningful and equitable learning opportunities for all students. Her research interests include issues relating to organizational culture and the interpretation and implementation of the governing policies within an organization
