The Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) concentration prepares students to effectively and efficiently manage resources, processes, and quality in order to satisfy customer expectations in the challenging environment of global competition. The concentration synthesizes global operations, purchasing, logistics, and distribution into a cohesive strategy that will enable the student to substantially increase efficiency and reduce waste of resources in organizations and their supply chains. The concentration provides education in modern theories, business practices, and applications associated with the successful development and management of supply chains in service and manufacturing. Students in this concentration will develop in-depth knowledge and specialized skills in utilizing modern methods of project management, service operations management, enterprise resources planning, lean management and six-sigma quality, supply chain planning, logistics, procurement and purchasing, strategic sourcing, and e-commerce supply chains.
