Strategy and Innovation Concentration

International business comprises a large and growing portion of the world’s total business. Virtually every company, be it large or small, is affected by global events and competition. With the ever-increasing level of integration in the global economy, a successful business requires a strategic and global mindset in its approach to competition.


Upwardly mobile managers need to be trained in strategy and international business. With a Strategy and Innovation Concentration, students will develop an understanding of and appreciation for the concepts of strategic management with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability in a global context. Students will acquire a set of analytical tools, and develop skills in analyzing, evaluating, formulating, and implementing competitive strategies. The primary objective of this option is to develop each student as a strategic thinker trained and experienced in taking advantage of business opportunities.
