How to Apply

Please send completed applications to pi@csueastbay.edu or talk to your Accessibility Services Counselor about a referral.

Applications are reviewed during our enrollment period of July-September. Applications received outside this period will be held, and you will be contacted during the next enrollment period. Occasionally, you may be contacted sooner if space is available. Students applying to Project IMPACT will be asked to participate in an entrance interview and learning skills assessment. Students who meet the federal definition of low income, or are first generation college students, are given preference during the enrollment period.

Eligibility:

  • Pursuing first bachelor's degree
  • Have a permanent, documented disability
  • Have a demonstrated academic need for support
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (sorry, no F-1 Visas)

Applicants will be asked to submit income verification as part of the application process. Eligibility is not guarantee of acceptance. Unfortunately, students who are members of EXCEL are not eligible for Project IMPACT.
