To access voicemail remotely from off-campus dial (510) 885-7222 or from an on-campus phone other than your own, dial 5-7222. You will be prompted to enter your voice mailbox ID number. Enter your five-digit mailbox ID number (5xxxx, five plus the last four digits of your campus telephone number), lastly enter your security code.  Another way to access your voicemail remotely is to just call your campus telephone number, while the greeting is playing press the * key then enter your security code.
Indicate to the caller that you will transfer the call to the desired individual’s voice mailbox.  From the conversation press the transfer button and then dial *55 followed by the five-digit voicemail ID number (the individual’s five-digit extension, 5xxxx) and the # key.  You can hang-up the receiver.  The caller will get the designated voice mailbox to leave his/her message.  
While listening to the message, press 9 (more options). The voice attendant will give you options from which to select.  Press 2 (forward a message) at this point the voice attendant will indicate to record your “introduction” message.  Do so after the tone and then press the # key.  Listen to the options, “to forward to one or more destinations” - Press 3, enter the five-digit voicemail ID number (five-digit extension, 5xxxx) to which you wish to forward the message followed by the # key.  To send the message press the # key.  At this point you can include another voicemail ID number to forward the message (follow the prompts).  You can either hang-up if you are done or if you wish to delete the original message - press the * key to go to the previous menu.  Press the * key again to take you to the menu where you can delete the message (press 7).
