Programs Fees

All programs require a $150 non-refundable ALP application fee.  

Students applying for conditional admission to CSUEB undergraduate degree programs & Pre-MBA program are required to pay an additional $55 Cal State Apply application fee and this cannot be combined with the $150 ALP application fee.

How to Pay Your Fees

You may pay by cash or check by mail or in person. You may pay with a credit card online only. 

Pay Online

A secure online payment system is available through MyCSUEB for your convenience and is managed by a trusted third-party provider contracted by the University. You can pay by credit card or electronic check. Cal State East Bay's online pay interface accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and VISA. There is a non-refundable 2.9% service charge for paying with a credit card. International Bank Transfer (available through MyCSUEB) is another convenient way to pay from overseas.

Pay in Person

You may pay fees in person, with check, money order, cashier's check, or cash at the Cashier's office. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards at the Cashier's office.

Withdrawals and Refund

  • No refund of application fees and registration fees.
  • 100% refund of all tuition fees paid before the beginning of classes.
  • 65% refund if application for refund is approved before the end of the first week of classes.
  • No refund after the first week of classes.

Late Fee

  • New students will be charged a late fee of $75 for tuition payment after the first day of New Student Orientation.
  • Continuing students will be charged a late fee of $75 for tuition payment after the announced date (usually a few weeks before the new quarter begins).

Returned Check

A returned check penalty fee of $25.00 will be charged to a student’s account for any check dishonored by the drawee bank. The returned check and penalty fee must be paid by cash, credit card or money order. Payments made by a returned check are reversed from the student’s account, leaving the balance due and payable immediately. Outstanding balances are subject to the unpaid fees and delinquent accounts policy and may result in the students being dropped from their classes.
