Women in Leadership Program (WIL)
WIL enhances the potential for graduates and alumni to advance in their professional journeys. WIL creates awareness of the capabilities they need to navigate through their careers and empowers them through training, coaching, and mentorship. Students are encouraged to “build the muscle” needed through active engagement and leadership in social impact and community programs. Learn more.
Pitch Day
Students dive into their own “Shark Tank” experience through Start-it-Up, a month-long series of workshops created by the Smith Center for Private Enterprise Studies and the Up Club student organization. The program gives undergraduate and graduate students a chance to turn classroom concepts into actual businesses with the potential for real investment and growth. Learn more.
Student Investment Fund (SIF)
The Student Investment Fund (SIF) offers students hoping to immerse themselves in the world of investing, a chance to blend theoretical knowledge with real-world application. Students manage real money in an investment fund and get exposure to the investment management process by crafting analyst reports and pitching recommendations, ultimately deciding the direction of the portfolio. Dean's Fund for Excellence
The Dean's Fund for Excellence is a flexible source of support for the College of Business and Economics. It’s a resource for the students, faculty, and programs that need it most, allowing the Dean to act quickly on new opportunities or urgent matters. The fund is crucial to our ability to address urgent matters and continue our service as the education and research leader in the Bay Area and beyond.
