Finish strong! Come back and complete your degree at Cal State East Bay

It is now much easier for students to resume taking classes if you left within the past 10 years in good academic standing.

  • No application fees
  • No long application forms

Cal State East Bay has more programs and courses approved for online offerings than ever before to help meet your scheduling needs. We are here to help you complete your degree and fulfill your academic and career goals.

You can simply email returningstudents@csueastbay.edu to receive instructions on how to complete a simple returning student form. Be sure to include your full name and NetID (if you know it).

*Please note that Nursing and Music applicants are not eligible to go through this simplified process and must reapply at www.calstate.edu/apply

Once you accept the admission offer, you can make an appointment with an advisor to review your remaining coursework. After you are readmitted, if you don’t know who your advisor is, email whoismyadvisor@csueastbay.edu and you will be connected to them.

Students who were previously academically disqualified must set up an appointment with a readmission counselor by emailing readmission@csueastbay.edu.

At Cal State East Bay, we are proud to support our students with our extensive financial aid programs. Over 70% of students at CSUEB receive some form of financial aid. That’s why we are here to help you with exploring your financial aid options and provide you with additional information on how to fund your education. If you haven’t done so already, make sure to submit either a FAFSA or CADAA application for the academic year that you will be attending.  Click here if you need assistance in filling out the right application.  Additionally, check out our Pioneer Scholarship Portal to receive even more funding for your degree!
