There are two locations for on-campus housing, Pioneer Heights and University Village. Both our ALP/CIE students stay in University Village when they first arrived. They may request for a room change or location change before the end of the semester for the next semester.

All on-campus housings consist of apartments. In university village, there are only one or two bedroom apartments as compared to Pioneer Heights where the apartments usually consist of 4 bedrooms. All rooms are double occupancy in the apartments except for Shasta and Diablo which are two buildings reserved for upper classmen, single room occupancy.

Many ALP students live in the University Village complex with other regular students. There are 3 floor plans:

  1. One bedroom and 1 bath
  2. Two bedroom and 1 baths
  3. Two bedroom and 2 baths (higher rent fee)

The following amenities are available in the University Village community:

  • These apartments are fully furnished with a kitchenette that includes cabinets, dining table and chairs, a full sized refrigerator and a microwave.
  • Within the complex, there is a regular kitchen with stove and oven for regular cooking
  • There are coin-operated laundry machines on every floor.
  • TV, pool table and space for activities or study.
  • There is also a late night front desk to provide, games, vacuum cleaners for check-out.
