Learning Goal Learning Objective
Learning Goal 1 Content Knowledge: Graduates will have requisite theoretical and applied knowledge across disciplines and of their concentration. LO 1A Foundational Knowledge Competency: Students will possess core knowledge across discipline areas covered by the core courses.
LO 1B Concentration-Specific Knowledge Competency: Students will possess required knowledge specific to the concentration.
LO 1C Experiential Knowledge Competency: Students will acquire knowledge through transformation of experience.
Learning Goal 2 Information-Driven Decision Makers: Graduates will be effective information-driven decision makers. LO 2A Critical Thinking Competency: Students will apply critical thinking skills to solve business problems.
LO 2B Technology-based Analytics Competency: Students will apply technology to analyze data and to aid decision making.
Learning Goal 3 Communication: Graduates will have professional communication and interpersonal skills. LO 3A Oral Communication Competency: Students will be able to research, organize, and deliver an effective oral presentation in a professional manner.
LO 3B Written Communication Competency: Students will be able to research, organize, and write an effective document in a professional manner.
Learning Goal 4 Community Citizen: Graduates will be responsible and engaged citizens in their community. LO 4A Community Citizenship Competency: Students will identify social, environmental, and ethical issues surrounding businesses and respond appropriately.

LO 2B Technology-Based Analytics Competency: Students will apply various technologies to prepare, analyze and synthesize data to facilitate in decision-making to solve accounting-related problems.

Learning Goal 1: Students who graduate will be effective in using analytics technologies and applications for solving business problems. LO 1A: Students who graduate will be able to effectively use advanced data technologies and software to manage large amounts of data (in rubrics) and to build analytical models.
Learning Goal 2: Students who graduate will be effective in applying quantitative methods and tools of business analytics. LO 2A: Students who graduate will be able to apply quantitative methods and tools to effectively formulate, solve, and analyze data-driven business problems.
Learning Goal 3: Students who graduate will be effective in making data-driven business decisions. LO 3A: Students who graduate will be able to propose and evaluate alternatives for making data-driven, effective business decisions.
Learning Goal 4: Students who graduate will be effective in written communication of their analytical work. LO 4A: Students who graduate will be able to write effectively to convey project ideas, methodology, and findings.

LO 1B: Graduates will solve for the Nash equilibrium and its various refinements when analyzing strategic interactions.
Learning Goal 2: Graduates will be proficient in solving and applying macroeconomic models LO 2A: Graduates will compute numerical solutions for macroeconomic models using a modern programming language.
LO 2B: Graduates will characterize analytically the solution of macroeconomic models.
Learning Goal 3: Graduates will be knowledgeable of estimation techniques applied to economic data LO 3A: Graduates will identify and apply appropriate empirical techniques for estimation problems.
LO 3B: Graduate will estimate models informed by economic theory using specialized software. Students will recognize ethical issues in business and apply appropriate ethical perspectives/rules in their decisions.
