CSU Health Professions Scholars

The College of Health at California State University, East Bay is proud to celebrate an outstanding record of student achievement through the CSU Health Professions Scholars Program, a prestigious statewide initiative that prepares promising students for doctoral and professional careers in healthcare, research, and academia.

The CSU Health Professions Scholars Program provides students with faculty mentorship, graduate school preparation, research opportunities, and professional development experiences that strengthen their pathway to advanced degrees in health-related disciplines. Selection into the program is highly competitive and recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential, and a commitment to improving the health of their communities.

Over the past three award cycles, five College of Health students have been selected as CSU Health Professions Scholars—an exceptional accomplishment that reflects the College's strong culture of faculty mentorship, undergraduate research, and commitment to developing the next generation of health professionals.
