GUIDING PRINCIPLES
The COH Curriculum Committee is committed to collegiality, diversity, equity, and inclusion in all policies and procedures. Thus, our guiding principles ensure that all written and oral communications, virtually and in person, are cordial and professional, meaning we respect similar and differing opinions and therefore cannot accept language or behavior that is contrary to those principles. We thank you in advance for abiding by this commitment in conversations, whether as a committee member or as a guest at committee proceedings; any such deviation from that commitment will not be tolerated and is grounds for excusal from said conversation. Behavior or language resulting in an excusal may require a follow-up meeting with the Associate Dean and Committee Chair prior to continued committee meetings or discussions.
MEMBERSHIP
The committee shall be comprised of five (5) members, each serving a two year term: the COH associate dean, and probationary or tenured faculty member from departments representing the arts, humanities/letters, social sciences, interdisciplinary programs, and professional programs as selected by each group’s department and/or program chairs.
