Cal State East Bay encourages all students to have at least one internship before graduation. Internships may be paid or unpaid, taken for academic credit or not, and typically provide a student with a real-life work experience related to their future career or interests. Internships are structured learning opportunities and can occur during the summer or academic year.
Career Education is hosting a week long program of professional development workshops, seminars and panels for all students to attend virtually. The sessions are designed to provide students with an overview of the internship process, highlight the experiences of current student interns, as well as provide information on the career planning process.
