Daily Crime Log

In compliance with the Clery Act, the campus must maintain a Daily Crime Log. The purpose of the daily crime log is to record all criminal incidents and alleged criminal incidents that are reported to the campus police or any Campus Security Authority (CSA). The crime log includes specific information about criminal incidents, not crime statistics and not an all inclusive police activity report. The Crime Log includes the following five informational items:

  1. Date and time reported;
  2. Nature of the crime(s);
  3. General location;
  4. Date and time occurred;
  5. Current disposition of the crime(s);

The Crime Log is open to public inspection, free of charge, upon request, during normal business Hours (M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm excluding holidays) at the University Police Department located at 25800 Carlos Bee Boulevard, Hayward, 94542 in the front lobby.

Daily Fire Log

In compliance with the Clery Act, the university community is kept aware of any fire that occurred in an on-campus student housing facility reported to any campus official. The information in the fire log includes the date the fire was reported, the nature of the fire, the date and time of the fire, and the general location of the fire. The Fire Log is open to public inspection, free of charge, upon request, during normal business Hours (M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm excluding holidays, school closings, and Summer hours: M-F 10:00 am - 4:00 pm) at Student Housing & Residence Life.
