Graduate, extension, and credential students receive advising directly through their programs. Visit your program’s website to find advisor contact information and connect.
Pre-admission advising is available through the Office of Student Outreach for prospective students exploring their options. Visit their website for more information. -
You can schedule an advising appointment through Bay Advisor. Log in to Bay Advisor and select Schedule an Appointment to choose the advisor, appointment type, and time that works best for you. Appointments may be in person, virtual, by phone, or offered as drop-ins - making it easy to stay connected.

Meet with your advisor at least once each term - and anytime you have questions. Advising helps you plan your path, prepare for registration, and move confidently toward graduation.

Academic advisors help you understand degree requirements, create a clear academic plan, and stay on track for graduation. They can assist with registration, academic policies, Degree Audits, and exploring or changing majors and minors. Advisors also connect you to campus resources - so you can build momentum and succeed.

Yes. Career advising is available through the Career Empowerment Center, where you can explore career paths, internships, and post-graduation goals. You may also connect with a faculty advisor in your major for career-related guidance.
