Confidential Campus Advocate
Cal State East Bay's Confidential Advocate program provides crisis counseling and advocacy for survivors and those impacted by sexual violence including: sexual harassment, dating and intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sexual exploitation. This program serves the entire campus community; students, faculty, staff and affiliates.
The campus is currently hiring for a new Confidential Advocate. If you are a student, staff or faculty member who needs support during this interim time, the following resources are available:
Cal State East Bay works closely with with BAWAR (Bay Area Women Against Rape), a non-profit in Oakland, to provide support to survivors. Please call BAWAR's 24-hour hotline, (510) 845-7273.
Students can also contact Student Health and Counseling at shcscounseling@csueastbay.edu. To schedule an appointment with a counselor, go to https://health.csueastbay.edu, or call (510) 885-3735.
Staff and faculty can seek support through the Employee Assistance Program.
