Dr. Sarnikar emphasizes the need to diversify the student body and intends to use his network in the Bay Area to do so. Dr. Sarnikar is a well-respected contributor to several college and university-level committees and plans to leverage his collaboration to serve MSBA students.

"I am pleased to see such high-quality leadership of our program," said Dean Gangaram Singh. "Surendra emphasized the factors that led to the program's success, including our curriculum and its currency and relevance. Moreover, he sketched a vision for the program, with ways to improve, strategies to include innovative instruction, and actions to sustain enrollment."

"I am excited to work with our highly talented program faculty to develop and implement innovative technologies and teaching methods to equip our students with leading-edge, industry-relevant skills, and at the same time make the program more accessible to a wider student body." Sarnikar said.

The MSBA program began in 2015 to provide a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students to develop knowledge and skills in applying analytics to solve business problems. Recent graduates work in top-tier companies including Google, Uber, Zoom, Kaiser Permanente, Adobe, Workday and Apple, to name a few.
